Privacy Policy
Awtter uses account, project, document, research, billing, and export data only to provide and support the writing workspace.
Information We Handle
Awtter can handle account identifiers, email addresses, project metadata, document text, notes, research assets, cleanup presets, export history, custom templates, and recovery backups.
If you use the public demo, changes are treated as demo-only and should not be used for private or important work. Signed-in projects are stored in authenticated project storage with access controls designed to keep each user's workspace separate.
How We Use Workspace Data
Awtter uses workspace data to load projects, autosave edits, run cleanup rules, manage snapshots and backups, generate exports, show project statistics, and provide support when requested.
Awtter does not sell document content or research assets. The current cleanup workflow is rules-based and does not require AI credits or send document text to an AI generation service to clean your work.
Billing, Files, And Exports
Payment details are processed by Stripe. Awtter may store billing status, customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, and plan information, but it does not store full card numbers.
Imported files, research files, generated exports, and ZIP bundles may be stored in private project storage. Downloaded exports and backup bundles can include document text, metadata, binder structure, and export reports, so treat them as private project material.
Retention, Deletion, And Support
Users can archive, restore, and delete projects from the dashboard. Hard deletes are designed to remove associated export and research storage objects before database rows are deleted.
For privacy or account questions, contact support@awtter.com. We may retain limited operational records where needed for security, billing, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
